Solo Exhibition/Pain and Beauty

Well it has finally arrived! Pain and Beauty at Church….

I cant sleep for a few weeks I guess…(Not out of the ordinary)

Ill be exhibiting some “oldies but goodies” and hopefully innovative and amazing new works. Its been a long year in the Big City, but things are getting better everyday!

The subways are quite amazing!

The fashion shows are unbelievable!!!???

And I love the direction of my new work..Although they require sooooooo much time!!!

Billions of happenings

Well….My apologie for such a delay! Life has been quite exciting this past month. Multiple commissons, multiple shows, multiple jobs. Not a wink of sleep! The new schedule is 3-4 hours a night and at least 2 days without sleep at all each week. I really  feel like Im in New York now!

Each day is an adventure! Since I last wrote I had a show in LA….Something different for me. A drawing on a guitar!? Long story…Haha! Here’s the images…..Not too bad…

And den….Crazy show at an electronic concert here in Brooklyn….Ummm it was kinda insane that week..I have some amazing photos but Im trying to do this during lunch soooo….Synopsis…Amazing Djs!!! Tons of party people! Burlesque and I dont even know what other kind of dancers. I had so much fun I didnt take photos of my own paintings!! haha!

Last but not least the weirdest person(not the weirdest, but pretty damn close!) Ive come across in a long time. A man who strategically placed himself on the dancefloor wrapped in carpets with a sign above him that read…..

Yes I took photos! If you look closely his head is peaking out. I dont even want to post the others! They’re too creepy!!! haha! It was really dark in there the flash allowed me to see his head!

Uhhh….What else…Ive been working really hard…

SOoooooo heres an update on events and shows in the midst of two commissions!

~Live painting at an undisclosed location JULY 31 with Urban Cabaret. (Look them up. They throw some amazing events! Ill post as soon as I  receive info. (Pretty gangster!)

~ I also “painted” a guitar for a “String Harmonic” event in Santa Monica. I actually adhered a drawing and Master Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell applied a professional grade resin job upon it. Thats AUGUST 5 at Arsenal Fx in Santa Monica. Another one!

~Los Angeles solo exhibition at CHURCH boutique. October 16th is the date (Going to be amazingly huge so fly out East Coasters!! It marks the first of many large exhibitions. Im working on 5 new large paintings!!!!!)

Travels and chaos

Soooooooooo……….Ive been traveling a bit…….Moving a bit…….Not sleeping ever!! But working a lot. I went to LA to “move” the Los Angeles studio. It was hell, but I had plenty of soda pop to get through it all.

 My arrival to Los Angeles was pretty amazing after not going to sleep for two days. My sensai and brother Jeremy Corbell picked me up at the airport and brought me to an amazing opening reception for a new building and mobile that was being displayed. Plenty of free food, live jazz ,and great atmosphere. We then proceeded to a lovely salt water pool and summery drinks, thai food, play time with the niece and deep deep sleep upon a plush carpet! Twas the calm after and before multiple storms. Ive been traveling, and working so much its been difficult to keepeveryone informed. Ive got many photos to come this week!

I have begun a new commission.
